Hello Beautiful! Today I wanted to tell you about my skin care routine for both the night and morning! Below are the steps I use to keep my skin looking fresh and glowy!
Morning: I shower in the mornings so in the shower I wash my face with the Origins checks and balances face wash. This face wash is perfect for combination (both oil and dry) skin because the broad leaf kelp extract in it discourages excess oil production while the wheat protein balances and protects dry-prone zones. It always leaves my skin feeling fresh without feeling tight like some cleansers. After I get out of the shower, I apply my Olehenriksen truth serum which brightens the skin and leaves it hydrated all day. Once that dries into my skin I apply the Origins energy-boosting moisturizer which feels light on the skin and dries super fast. It is super hydrating and leaves you glowing without looking greasy or feeling sticky! I put on the clinique eye cream which leaves your under eye hydrated and ready for concealer. After this is done I spray my face with the Mario Badescu rose-water and let that dry into my skin before starting my makeup. This is a great hydrating spray and leaves my skin feeling refreshed.
Night time: In the night-time I start by taking my makeup off with the clinique take the day off cleansing balm. This product starts as a balm but turns into an oil as you rub it onto your skin then turns into a milk as you wash it off your face. It takes off all my makeup and is safe to use on your eyes too. I prefer this to makeup wipes because if your feeling lazing you can always just do this first step and your skin will still feel good the next day, where as if I don’t wash my face after using a makeup wipe my skin breaks out over night. Second I use witch hazel on a cotton round to tone my face and get any leftover makeup off. Witch hazel is my skin secret because it works naturally to fight off acne. I use it every night to make sure there is no dirt on my face especially if I did not wear makeup that day and my skin was exposed. Next I use the same face wash, moisturizer, and eye creme as I did in the morning. Finally if I have a problem spot on my face like a pimple I use the Mario Badescu drying lotion on the end of a Q-Tip and apply it to just that spot. Never shake the bottle because the only part of the solution you are supposed to put on your face is the pink part that sinks to the bottom of the bottle.
I hope you learned some helpful tips and tricks on how keep your skin clean and fresh!
